morning sun so are the sins of the mankind by the sight of Kailash and Manasarover" SAKUNDA
PURANA. Since time immemorial, when the Aryans first crossed the Himalaya, Mount Kailash has been
celebrated by the Hindu mythology as a sacred mountain and the center of the universe.
We embark on a trip to purify our mind and soul on this remarkable journey through
picturesque landscapes. Our journey starts with a flight to Simikot with an overnight halt at Nepalgunj.
After an early morning flight from Nepalgunj, we start our trek towards the Tibetan border town of SHER
from where we drive towards Mount Kailash. We embark on a three days trek around the Holy Mount
Kailash and then rest at the Manasarover Lake before heading towards the Capital of Tibet, Lhasa. From
here you have an option either to fly out to Kathmandu or drive back via the old fort of Gyantse towards
Zhangmu, which connects the main highway between Nepal and Tibet.
