We fly over the mighty Everest and the host of other peaks
lying frozen and silent. Close view of the mountains only makes you realize how massive these natural
giants really are. Upon arrival we head towards Tsedang and visit the Samye monastery. Following day we
visit the Gyantse forts where if you listen closely you may still hear the war cries of the brave Tibetans who
once defended this fort from their adversaries. We continue towards Shigatse, the second largest city in
Tibet and the abode of the one of the most revered monasteries in Tibet, the Tashi Lhunpo. Leaving
Shigatse behind we travel on towards Lhasa the capital of Tibet where we explore various monasteries
before embarking on a flight to Kathmandu
