Dhaulagiri trek is one of the most fascinating treks which is not done by most of the people because of its rough terrain and sometimes dificlt routes. The trek akes you through he center of Dhaulagiri Massif, completely circling Dhaulagiri I, which at 8167m is the seventh highest peak in the world. The trek is hard with the possibility of snow at altitude. You need to be in good physical shape and have the approtiate equipment including good boots and gailers. Snow conditions mean that the trek is generally only feasible in late September to the end of October and again from Late March to the end of April. This llimited season puts a lot of pressure on the route particularly where camp sites are limited.
